  • Should I learn in a manual or automatic car?

Answer: It depends on your needs and preferences! Here’s a breakdown to help you decide:

At Bayview Automatic Driving School we ONLY offer Automatic lessons

    Learn in a Manual If:

✅ You want the flexibility to drive both manual and automatic cars.
✅ You plan to drive in countries where manual cars are common.
✅ You enjoy having more control over the car, especially in performance driving.
✅ You want to develop a skill that could be useful for future driving opportunities (e.g., certain jobs require manual driving).

    Learn in an Automatic If:

✅ You want an easier and quicker learning experience.
✅ You’ll primarily be driving in heavy traffic, where automatics are more convenient.
✅ You don’t plan on driving a manual in the future.
✅ You want to focus more on road awareness and less on gear changes.

If you’re unsure, learning in a manual gives you more flexibility, but if ease and convenience are your priority, an automatic might be the better choice.
